OBDScan is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

What the app does

OBDScan is an OBD-II diagnostic tool. With a separate ELM327-compatible adapter it reads data and trouble codes that your vehicle reports, and it can clear trouble codes after your confirmation. It is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any vehicle manufacturer or adapter maker. It is not a substitute for professional inspection or repair, and it does not include a manufacturer fault-description database.

Use at your own risk

You are responsible for how you use the app and the adapter. Do not use the app in a way that distracts you while driving. Clearing codes resets readiness monitors and may affect inspections. Readings may be incomplete or inaccurate depending on your vehicle and adapter.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damage to your vehicle, adapter, device or data arising from use of the app.
